After trailing by 14 points in the second half, the Boston Celtics made a fierce comeback in the final frame of the game to take the lead with just under two minutes in the rules after a pair of free throws by Jaylan Brown. In the end, however, this lead was short-lived, as the Milwaukee Bucks scored four of the last five points of the game to come out with a 103-101 victory and a 2-1 series lead.
Boston had many chances to send this game into overtime, but Al Horford’s attempt for a climax came just after the last bell. Although he didn’t like it, Horford had a fantastic game for the Celtics, scoring 25 points and grabbing 15 boards. Jaylan Brown overtook Boston 27 points and 12 rebounds, but in the end it was not a match for Bucks’ offensive attack, as Janice Adetokunmpo was too dominant, finishing with the highest 42 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.
