A man has been charged with the murder of four members of the same family at their home in south-east London.
Joshua Jacques, 28, will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday on charges of killing 64-year-old Dolet Hill, 58-year-old Denton Burke, 45-year-old Tanisha Ofori-Akufo and 27-year-old Samantha Drummond.
This comes after police were called for riot signals at a terraced house on Delaford Road, Bermondsey, at 1.40am on Monday.
Gunmen broke down the door and found the family stabbed to death inside.
Mr Jacques of Minard Road, Louisham, was charged by detectives with murder on Thursday morning.

Retired NHS employee Ms. Hill lived with her longtime partner, Mr. Burke, in the three-bedroom house on Delaford Road.
It turned out that Ms. Drummond, the youngest member of the family killed, had returned home just days before the killings, as repairs were being carried out at her apartment in Forest Hill, Louisham, while her mother, Ms Ofori. Akufo stays there to take care of her own mother, who is being treated for cancer.

Ms. Ofori-Akufo’s husband, Danny, said he had been left “completely destroyed” by the death of his wife, who has been around for nearly two decades.
He described Ms Ofori-Akufo as “such a beautiful woman” and said he did not know how he would live without her.
Samantha Drumonds was stabbed to death just days before her 28th birthday after she went to stay at her grandmother’s house during renovations at her apartment in nearby Forest Hill.

More details have emerged about other family members, including the only man killed.
Denton Burke is said to have been a trained chef who moved to the UK from Jamaica 25 years ago.
The husband of 45-year-old Tanisha Ofori-Akufo, also known as Rachkel, said he had been left “completely destroyed” by his wife’s death for nearly two decades.

According to his sister, Juliet Hutchinson, he and Mrs. Hill worked at the same hospital and had been together for 16 or 17 years.
She described him as “always smiling, joking and cooking” and said that Mrs. Hill was a “beautiful, cheerful, kind lady” who was “so sincere”.
Mrs. Drummond was just days after her 28th birthday when she was killed at her grandmother’s home.
