Katie Price’s fiancé Carl Woods said he was “relieved” after his accusation of threatening behavior was dropped by investigators.

The 33-year-old man was indicted after a high-profile dispute with Price last August.

Colchester court said he tried to “break into a house by force after an argument with Katie on the street”, reports The Sun.

Mr Woods had previously pleaded not guilty to using threatening, offensive or offensive words or behavior.

Woods was charged under section 4 of the Public Order Act after an incident at his home in Little Canfield, Essex last year.

Carl Woods, 33, was indicted after a high-profile dispute with Katie Price in August last year.

An earlier hearing in March told magistrates that the indictment followed a scandal that spilled over into the streets, disturbing neighbors.

At one point, Woods was allegedly seen trying to force a door open, the court heard.

The male model attended the trial hand in hand with Price after the couple returned from a holiday in Thailand.

He was due to stand trial on Thursday, but it was revealed today that the case was dropped due to a lack of realistic prospects for a verdict.

A source said: “Carl is relieved that his name has finally been cleared.

“It simply came to our notice then.

“People close to Karl continued to support him throughout the process and everyone is relieved to hear the news.”

Elsewhere, Katie Price is awaiting her sentence on June 24 in the Crown Court of Lewis, after she pleaded guilty to violating a restraining order against the fiancée of her ex-partner Kieran Hailer Michelle Penticost.

The 44-year-old former glamorous model was arrested by police after allegedly sending a “sneaky and nasty” message to Mr. Hailer about Miss Pentecost on January 21.

The message read: “Tell your ****** whore friend not to get involved with me.

“She has a restraining order, so you shouldn’t try to oppose me because she’s in violation, and I’m sure she doesn’t want people to know that she had an affair with you behind my back. This gutter slag.

Price was served with a five-year restraining order on June 3, 2019, prohibiting her from contacting Miss Pentecost directly or indirectly.

The order came after Price threw an obscene “tirade of abuse” during a fight on the school grounds.

Regarding the Woods case, a CPS spokesman said today: “The CPS has an obligation to keep cases under constant review.

“As part of our review and in accordance with our legal test, we came to the conclusion that there is no longer a realistic prospect of conviction and the case was dropped.

“The Royal Public Prosecutor’s Office takes seriously all situations in which a person’s behavior arouses fear, and we will seek to prosecute suspects when our legal test is completed.”
