Cellmates saved my life, says a tearful Boris Becker News

Boris Becker feared for his life at Wandsworth Prison and there were two occasions when other inmates threatened to kill or hurt him while guards “did nothing”, he said last night.

The 55-year-old former tennis star described the harrowing ordeal that followed his bankruptcy conviction, twice breaking down in tears as she made her first public remarks since being freed and deported to Germany last week.

He claims that at one point an “extremely dangerous” prisoner called “John”, who is serving a 25-year sentence for multiple murders, terrorized him with threats of violence in an attempt to extort money. On another occasion, Becker said, a man he called Ike cornered him in jail. Becker he said
