Chelsea (3-4-2-1)
Edward Mandy was forced to take action before the break with a decent save to fend off Cheikhou Kouyaté’s fierce will, but without a problem in the second half. 7/10
Cesar Aspilicueta wanted to move forward in some cases, but he shuffled his lines with an ambitious volley from Timo Werner’s cross in the beginning. 6
Andreas Christensen helped prevent the palace’s counterattack by eliminating the danger and having a calm presence from behind. 7
Antonio Rüdiger Composed on the ball and his long pass created a half chance for Kai Havertz. He almost scored late, but the fierce effort blocked. 6
Reece James appeared on cue near the post, and steered it past the goalie. Easy control of possession and also kept Wilfried Zaha relatively quiet. Player of the match. 8
Giorgino had difficulties in the middle of the field and at a good pace in the first half. He raised the ball hopelessly out of play to sum up the slow performance. 6
Mateo Kovacic failed to find his range with a cross that had too much power and seemed disappointed before being sent off early due to injury. 6
Marcos Alonso Not very effective as an attacking exit from the left, but he grew into a game as Chelsea dominated the possession. 6

Timo Werner failed to create the fireworks from the last two matches, but he disturbed Palace with his relentless running and tireless work. I did well playing in Mason Mount for Chelsea’s second goal and almost scored third. 7
Mason Mount made a disappointing early cross that was too close to Jack Butland and quiet at first. Improved after a break and sealed Chelsea’s victory by intertwining for a smart low final. 6
Kai Havertz Busy in the attack, but struggled to control the game. Proper yellow card for diving in an attempt to win a penalty in the first half. 6

Crystal Palace (4-3-3)
Jack Butland was not worried in the first half and quickly left his line to frustrate Werner after the break. He is not guilty of either goal. 6
Joel Ward defended steadily for most of the game and played a dangerous long ball that almost created an opening in the first half for Palace. 6
Joachim Andersen did a very good job of cutting James’ ball to Werner. He hit the crossbar, although his efforts were offside and he had to do better than a late header. 6
Mark Gay A former Chelsea defender has made an impressive mark on himself with a strong performance on his back. Powerful in the air. 7
Tyrick Mitchell Clean and tidy on the ball and occasionally combines down to the left with Zaha. Punished for losing the ball in the breakthrough of Chelsea. 6
Jeffrey Schloop A tireless worker who wants to use corruption to thwart Chelsea. However, he had to do better when he missed an attacking pass. 6

Cheikhou Kouyaté showed an early promise in the midfield by suppressing Chelsea’s attacks. He almost found the result with his furious will and hit his head from a great position in the second half. 7
James MacArthur did well to cut off Werner’s cross and wished to return and defend. It was difficult for me in the second half with Palace in defense. 6
Eberechi Eze Lively on a strange occasion when he was given a chance to attack. He faded as the match progressed with his teammates. 6
Jean-Philippe Mateta turned down an early opportunity after failing to take advantage of Zaha’s insightful pass and not get much change from Chelsea’s defense. 6
Wilfried Zaha was irritated at the beginning of the ball, who had to take advantage of Mateta. It seemed to be Palace’s biggest threat to the counter, but it was suppressed towards the end. 6
