Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has set the next goal of scoring goals in a tough battle with rival Liverpool on the horizon. Ronaldo inspired United for a potentially significant victory on Saturday afternoon when his stunning hat-trick smashed Norwich’s struggling Old Trafford.
This was the 60th treble in his record and brilliant career. But the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is not ready yet, as he is watching more history – starting with the upcoming trip to Anfield on Tuesday night (20:00).
After scoring 118 goals and 69 assists during his first period, Ronaldo completed a sensational comeback at Old Trafford last summer. He was followed by 21 strokes in all competitions.

From the team’s point of view, things are not going according to plan on his second visit as United – he can no longer win a trophy – is facing a tough battle to qualify for the Champions League despite surprising defeats by Arsenal and Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.
However, even at 37, there is still a lot left in the tank. Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s last hat-trick was a milestone not only in his 60s.
In fact, after taking 30 ball games before the age of 30, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner repeated that seven years after his thirties – and shows no signs of slowing down.
As he addressed his 99 million followers on the social media platform Twitter, Ronaldo clarified his next goal. In a post featuring an image of him standing at Old Trafford and emojis with a strong hand, the Portuguese captain said: “30 hat-tricks before 30 and 30 hat-tricks after 30. It’s time to unbalance the scale.”
