No one seems more surprised by Donald Trump’s approval of JD Vance for the Ohio Senate than the former president himself, who on Sunday does not seem to know the name of the former Trump. Speaking at a Save America Rally in Nebraska in support of Charles Herbster, a Republican gubernatorial candidate accused of sexually assaulting eight women, Trump sang in front of a crowd: “You know, we supported Dr. Oz. We approved — JP, didn’t we? JD Mandel, and he’s doing great. Everyone seems to be doing well. “Trump seems to be confusing the names of Ohio’s Republican primary candidates Josh Mandel, whom he did not support, and JD Vance, whom he (reluctantly) has. “Trump’s platform has long been considered a favorite in a crowded primary field until the former president approved Vance last month.” says in a statement from Trump on April 15. “We can’t play games. It’s all about winning!” With the primary election scheduled for May 3, Trump may want to resume with an exciting round of Guess Who: Ohio Senate Edition.
