Xur was corrected by Bungie and now he is again selling exotic and legendary armor that has real statistics that are not rubbish. But that’s not why you should go in and buy something from him this weekend. Rather, he sells exotic weapons that you must buy.
No, not Queenbreaker, which is the main weapon on the front page, but Xur is selling random reels from both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale now that both can no longer be formed by their 4th year vaulted missions. Today, this is The Tale of the Dead, which you should check out on page 2, as this is probably the best roll he has ever sold, depending on who you ask. By the way, Xur is in the hangar of the tower.
The roll is:
- Toothed tube – Control +++, Stability +
- Ricochet cartridges – stability ++, range +
- Composite storage – stability +, manipulation +
- Vorpal Weapon – Better damage against bosses and guardians in their supers

This roll with all its improvements in stability and handling just makes it feel much better to use. I’ve heard some people say that a Vorpal roll that sold some time ago with Extended Barrel, Steady Rounds and Fitted Stock is better, but that comes down to preference, and I’m not sure the range is as useful for a scout as others. settings. I really think you will like the roller focused on steering and stability.
The trick here is that Xur’s randomly rolled exotics cost extra than his normal ones. You have to spend both Ascendant Shard, the currency for masterful work at the end of the game, and an exotic cipher you may already have, but if not, you must complete a playlist mission from Xur himself to get one. Plus 125,000 Glimmer and 200 legendary tracks. Yes, it’s not cheap. But keep in mind that you’re getting a divine scroll that you may not have found before after a hundred Presage runs.
I already have one with Vorpal, Composite and Ricochet, but mine has Corkscrew instead of Fluted. It’s probably not worth spending all this time just to get Fluted, but I mean, I’m considering it.
While you’re at Xur, anything else worth taking? 26 intelligences, 64 statistic legendary weapons on my Titan, but other than that, I don’t see anything that really pops out of me this week. I saw another 48-bumper bumper slip out there, so I’m not sure the Xur is still fully fixed. Anyway, try to get this Dead Man’s Tale if you can afford it.
