Dragon’s Dogma 2 is under development

It was a long wait, but Capcom finally announced that it is working on a sequel to the cult classic fantasy role-playing game Dragon’s Dogma.

There has been speculation for some time about the sequel to the well-rated 2012 game, only exacerbated by Capcom’s decision to host the tenth anniversary live for the title, which is not exactly a blockbuster.

It was in this retrospective live stream that Capcom’s long-awaited announcement was finally made, with series director Hideaki Itsuno revealing that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is currently under development by taking off his jacket to reveal a T-shirt emblazoned with the logo. of the sequel.

10 years of the dragon’s dogma

Unfortunately, apart from the fact that it will use RE Engine, there is still some additional information to share about the project – there is certainly no hint of platforms or release date – but hopefully Capcom will have more to reveal soon.

In the meantime, why not take a trip down the memory bar with the live broadcast of Capcom’s 10th anniversary, which, among other things, reveals that Wales is the inspiration for Gransys’ decoration at Dragon’s Dogma. Which I really had to guess, given the number of chimeras I have to fight regularly on the way to Tescos.
