Argentina goalkeeping hero Emiliano Martinez continued to poke fun at Kylian Mbappe on his birthday by holding a baby doll bearing the French star’s face during Argentina’s World Cup victory parade around Buenos Aires.
To make matters worse, Martinez was actually holding an Mbappe doll as he stood next to the 24-year-old’s PSG team-mate Lionel Messi as the two celebrated Argentina’s penalty shoot-out victory over France.
Argentina’s players, including Golden Glove winner Martinez, spent the day walking the World Cup trophy around the capital before it was abandoned due to security concerns, with fans filmed jumping on the bus.

Martinez was hugely influential in Argentina’s triumph, making a crucial last-gasp save late in extra-time to deny Randall Kolo Muani, before denying Kingsley Coman in the penalty shootout to inspire La Albiceleste to their first World Cup success since 1986.
But it is not the first time Martinez has mocked Mbappe – who somehow came out on the losing side of the World Cup final despite scoring a hat-trick.
The Aston Villa goalkeeper brutally mocked Mbappe during the Argentina dressing room celebrations, calling for a minute’s silence for the France forward.
It came despite the 30-year-old being tipped to be one of the first people to console Mbappe after France’s heavy defeat.

The pair were also all smiles as they were pictured together as winners of the Golden Glove and Golden Boot – alongside Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi and Young Player of the Tournament Enzo Fernandez.
But since the pair left the Stade Lusail turf, Martinez appears to have held onto the French star.
This is most likely related to the PSG striker’s comments six months before the tournament. Mbappe said: “The advantage we have in Europe is that we play each other with high-level games all the time, like the Nations League.

Martinez was also seen consoling Mbappe after France’s brutal World Cup defeat, but was later mocked by the Villa goalkeeper
“When we get to the World Cup, we are ready, where Brazil and Argentina don’t have that level in South America. Football is not as advanced as in Europe. That’s why the Europeans always win the last world championships.”
Martinez responded to the claims ahead of the final and said: “He said that the level of South America is lower than the European level because he has not played there.
“If you don’t have the experience then it’s hard to comment, but there was nothing wrong with what he said. They know we are a world class team and they respect us for that.
The Argentine goalkeeper – who started dancing when Real Madrid star Aurelien Chuameni missed his penalty – also made an obscene gesture when presented with the Golden Glove trophy.
He was filmed making a rude gesture with the gong while holding it over his private parts.
Martinez then explained that he did it because French fans had booed him during Argentina’s thrilling final win.
