Mark Thyssen discusses inflation, which is eating away at Americans’ wages, and how the stock market is also reducing people’s retirement savings in a Special Report.
MARK THISEN: A lot. And first, I just miss Charles Krauthammer so much and I wish I had gone to medical school so I could be better at it. You know, inflation was already eating away at everyone’s wages. And now inflation and the stock market are eating away at their retirement savings. And for this president, the list of many of the worst things is getting worse. I want to say that we have already had the worst inflation in 40 years. The lowest gas prices in history. The biggest wave of crime since the 1990s. The worst border crisis in American history. We can now add to this the largest labor shortage in American history, 11.5 million vacancies in this country. The worst mortgage rates in 13 years and worse productivity since 1947. And we are also on the verge of recession to put the cherry on top. This is a bad situation for this president and he is not getting any good news.
