Toronto police are asking the public for help in identifying four people who are said to have crashed into a Scarborough vehicle earlier this month and stole thousands of items.
The theft took place on April 5, shortly after 3:30 am, in the area of Birchmount Road and Hungtingwood Drive, south of Finch Avenue East.
Police said security cameras in the area filmed four people walking around the neighborhood and checking unlocked vehicles.
One of the videos released by the police shows one of the four checking a vehicle parked in an alley and finding it unlocked. Then they are seen going through things in the car.
Police said the stolen items were worth more than $ 8,000.
