Frank McKeever: Met Police offers £ 20,000 prize to find a male fan who fears he has suffered ‘serious harm’ | United Kingdom news

Scotland Yard detectives are offering a £ 20,000 reward to help find a man who went missing last year as fears for his safety grew.

Frank McKeever, 63, was last seen walking around Highbury Park, near the Highbury Grange junction in north London, at around 10pm on Saturday, August 28th.

Mr McKeever of Islington was reported missing on 9 September.

The Birmingham City supporter wore a black jacket, dark trousers and black shoes on the day he was last seen.

His family “suffers greatly” as a result of his disappearance, which is “very uncharacteristic.”

“Desperate” for news

They described him as “a cheerful and gentle person and a sense of humor”.

“Our family has lost touch for several years, but we were so happy to reconnect with him last summer and we look forward to being with him again to re-establish family ties,” Mr McKeever’s relatives said in a statement.

“He looked happy and positive for the future and stayed true to his favorite football team, Birmingham City.

“Unfortunately, he has already disappeared without a trace and we are desperately waiting for any news.

The Sofia police also released photos of a backpack similar to the one Mr. McKeever often carries, but was not found.

Employees want to find the backpack and “will not worry about small issues.”

Murder investigation

A 46-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder, while a third suspect, a 45-year-old woman, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder after the Metropolitan launched an investigation last year.

All three have been released for investigation.

The forces are now offering the “significant” reward to show their “determination” to find Mr McKeever and “answer questions about his disappearance”.

Video surveillance showing his movement has been released to help the public recall the events that led to his disappearance.

“His family is suffering”

A team of specialist divers from the Maritime Police Department recently searched Regent’s Park, near Shepperton Road in north London, as part of efforts to find it.

Detective Inspector Laura Nelson of the Specialized Crime Command said: “Frank has not been seen since August last year and we strongly suspect that he was seriously injured.

“Frank did not use his phone or bank account and his disappearance is very unusual.

“His family is suffering a lot and we are doing everything we can to support them.

“I ask the public in turn to support us and tell us everything they know that can help us understand what happened to Frank.

“No information is too small; please contact us and tell us what you know, this can make you eligible for a significant prize. “
