Harry Maguire has reportedly been warned that his house will be bombed within 72 hours if he does not leave Manchester United in a terrifying death threat, according to reports.
Police search dogs conducted an urgent bombardment of the Cheshire mansion, which he shared with his fiancée Fern Hawkins and their two daughters, following an anonymous email sent to his agent.
The security team around the Man United captain and England defender is also believed to have been strengthened.
But The Sun claims the 29-year-old received a chilling ultimatum giving him 72 hours to leave his club or detonate three bombs planted in his house.
The report added that the central defender was at the United Carrington training ground when he was informed of the disgusting announcement on Wednesday – the day after United lost 4-0 to Liverpool – and therefore rushed home.
His fiancée and daughters, Lily St., two, and Piper Rose, one next month, went to a safe house while Maguire himself stayed with a teammate, the report added.
The same channel claims that Maguire is in the process of buying new video surveillance and 24/7 security and that police searched his house again on Thursday but found nothing.

The English national and his family are said to be extremely shaken by the threat sent by email.
A source told The Sun: “It was taken very seriously. Harry and his teammates regularly receive death threats on social media, but that was different.
“The e-mail says three bombs have been planted in his home. He had 72 hours to leave United, otherwise they would have been blown up. Hatred and abuse dripped from him.
Fern was hysterical. She no longer feels safe. She’s had enough of the violence Harry gets. This is ruthless, personal and out of order. Enough is enough.
“They’re a close family, and Harry has always put them first, but at the same time he refuses to succumb to the hateful crowd.”
Sportsmail contacted Manchester United for comment.

But The Athletic say that while he wants to travel with the team facing Arsenal on Saturday, he will probably be on the bench if and when interim manager Ralph Rangnik needs him.
The defender was criticized after his team lost 4-0 to Liverpool on Tuesday.
But German chief Rangnik offered his support to Maguire, saying: “I only learned about this terrible, terrible thing on Thursday afternoon and could not talk to him. This is another bad sign for the crazy world we live in. I’m sorry about Harry. He knows that everyone is behind him.
The central half was especially criticized after the 4-0 defeat of his team at Anfield on Tuesday and was wrong for the first goal of the Reds in just five minutes and their fourth as well.
Furious fans have entered the #MaguireOut trend on Twitter after the game after his blunders.
