One batch of Pharmasave Advanced Relief Eye Drops and Compliments Advanced Relief Eye Drops are withdrawn due to a packaging error.
Health Canada says some bottles may contain ingredients that are not listed on the label.
The agency says the affected bottles may contain undeclared Naphazoline HCl or glycerin, which can cause an allergic reaction, including a rash and itching or swelling, especially on the face, tongue and throat.
Withdrawn bottles may be labeled with batch number AR21CO3 or RL21D01.
The products distributed by Teva Canada Ltd. are used to temporarily relieve redness of the eyes due to minor eye irritation, burning and dryness, and are indicated for use by adults and children six years of age and older.
Health Canada says the withdrawal was caused after a complaint involving Pharmasave eye drops.
