MailOnline contacted a representative of Helen for further comment.

Richie plays as a midfielder and full-back for Leeds Rhinos, as well as for England internationally.

Helen and the rugby player were married in December 2013. They welcomed three children; Ernie is six, Louis is five and four-month-old Elsie Kate is sharing a home in Leeds.

Helen’s revelation comes just hours after she shared a post about the stress of motherhood, hinting at her personal problems.

It read: “A mother is always full of emotions, full of love, full of worries and anxieties, full of exhaustion and lack of energy, full of maternal guilt and doubt, full of pride for her children, full of pure joy.

“She feels everything, it’s her beauty, she wears it too, but she still happens every day and does it again.”

The last photo she shared with her husband was in February, when the couple looked cozy in a sweet selfie before Valentine’s Day.

Labeling the image, Helen said, “This time I crashed into the kitchen for ten minutes. ❤️ #familyoffive #thejuggleisreal #weekends #thesearethedays #thesearethedays #grateful #valentines #mylove. ‘

The breakup seems to have been sudden, as only last week Helen added a series of emojis to her heart to her husband’s Instagram post, which shows their sons exploring a cave during a family day in Yorkshire.

Just last week, Helen was photographed shining as she showed off her amazing body after giving birth in a bikini while on vacation.

The former Blue Peter presenter looked sensational in the black couple as she hugged an inflatable shark and posed in front of a pool.

On New Year’s Eve, the host revealed that she and Leeds defender Rhinos have welcomed a daughter named Elsie into their family.

Sharing a photo of England’s National Rugby League player Richie leaving the hospital with the newborn, Helen thanked NHS staff for their incredible support and “legendary” care.

In her sweet message, Helen revealed that Richie was confused about the term doula – a form of hired support during and after birth.

She wrote: “I can always count on Dickie … of all the things he said (there are many),” don’t worry, I’ll be your lido … “while on the way to the hospital he may be my favorite . The man meant Doula …

“Mainly because I still can’t find the right words of gratitude for our @nhsengland @nhsmillion …. legends, many of them.”

The Countryfile presenter later revealed that her baby’s middle name was a tribute to a cousin who died in her 20s.

Ritchie is preparing to return to the rugby field after an injury took him out of action for ten weeks.

The English international tore his abductor muscle in the first minutes of his club’s first game of the season, Leeds Rhinos, against the Warrington Wolves in February.

A week ago, however, he shared a photo of his workout, writing: “Light at the end of the tunnel.”

Prior to moving to Leeds in 2018, the family lived in France for two years while Richie played for the Catalan Dragons.

“Moving to France was not on the map when I married Richie,” the star told Mail On Sunday in 2018.

“But then it’s hard to know what’s on the cards when your husband is playing rugby and you’re a TV presenter, so you have to be open to everything and just take what life has to offer.”

When Myler signed with the Catalan Dragons in 2015, the couple and eldest son Eric, then just two months old, moved to Canet Beach, near Perpignan.

The TV star admitted that it was a difficult adaptation as a new mother, leaving behind two groups of grandparents, friends and a lifelong career in the French countryside.

“Life was very different,” she admitted. “I just had Ernie, so I was ready to stay home and spend time with him, but it was really a bit of a culture shock.

“The south of France sounds so cool and glamorous, but we were in a very remote seaside town near the Spanish border. There was no wi-fi, no busy street, almost no cafes and no friends around.

“The French partners of Richie’s teammates were wonderful, but I was in a completely different situation from them – I was a working mother with a small baby.”

Helen, however, threw herself into her new life by befriending her neighbors and even relying on them, as well as the local fire department, when she gave birth to her second son, Louis, on the kitchen floor.

Richie returned to England playing a game when Helen realized she was giving birth. He called on the wives of two teammates to come and help with two French firefighters. Helen later called the experience “painful, humiliating – and absolutely unbelievable.”

Helen and Richie met in 2011, when the rugby star was only 21. The couple married two years later in the children’s village of the former Blue Peter star, near Penrith.

In an interview with Northern Echo in 2018, she answered the question what is the secret of a happy marriage: “We got married only in 2013 – so ask me the secret in 10 years.

“Marriages and relationships are not ordinary, but we approach them as teamwork.

“Rich is the best dad. He is the “sugar police” when it comes to their diet and insists on routine, while sometimes I’m all for a quiet life, so we’re in good balance.
