Police have sealed many streets in Kirkby following reports of an incident.
A major emergency response was at the site of the Park Brow Drive accident in Kirkby at the intersection with Bullens Road. Witnesses said they saw police patrolling the area on Saturday while a yellow ribbon from the crime scene was placed across the intersection.
Photographs taken by ECHO show several police cars at the scene and officers guarding each end of the cordon. A Merseyside police chief confirmed to ECHO that police were present this afternoon.
