Jaguars Cam Robinson’s offensive match has an agreement to stay in Jacksonville for the long term.
Robinson and the Jaguars have reached an agreement in principle to extend the contract, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
It was rumored that the Jaguars planned to form his deputy tomorrow night, spending the first overall pick in the NFL draft or in Alabama’s fight with Evan Neal or the North Carolina state offensive with Ikem Equon. This possibility may have motivated Robinson to agree to a deal before the draft.
Jaguars put the label on Robinson’s franchise and he signed it, which means he would play this season for a guaranteed salary of $ 16.662 million. But the long-term deal will certainly give Robinson a much bigger guarantee than that, while assuring the Jaguars that Robinson will defend Trevor Lawrence for years to come.
