Kevin Spacey has been charged with four counts of sexual assault in London

Kevin Spacey has been charged with four counts of sexual assault in Britain, the Royal Prosecution Service (CPS) said.

The American actor is accused in connection with incidents with three men, which allegedly took place in London between March 2005 and August 2008 and in Gloucestershire in April 2013.

The Royal Public Prosecutor’s Office (CPS) said the 62-year-old man was also accused of forcing a person to engage in intrusive sexual activity without consent.

All three men are 30-40 years old, police said.

The accusations were announced after reviewing the evidence gathered by the Sofia police during its previous investigation against the actor.

That’s what Rosemary Ainsley, head of the CPS’s special crime unit, said. the service had “allowed criminal charges” against Spacey.

“The Crown Prosecution reminds all concerned that the criminal proceedings against Mr Spacey are active and that he has the right to a fair trial,” Ms Ainsley added.

Earlier this month, the American actor had to take part in a new film, which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in France this week.

Mr. Spacey is a two-time Oscar winner and best known for starring in The Beauty of the Americans, The Usual Suspects, and The House of Cards.

He was previously the artistic director of The Old Vic Theater in London.
