Singer Kim Wilde and actor Hal Fowler said they “remain on good terms” as they announced their split after 25 years of marriage.
The couple met while appearing in the hit West End musical Tommy and married in September 1996 in Codicote in Hertfordshire. They share two children.
A joint statement shared on Wilde’s social media accounts read: “Kim Wilde and Hal Fowler wish to announce that they amicably separated last year and are divorcing.
“There is no third party involved. They remain on good terms and wish each other only the best in the next stages of their lives. No further comments or statements will be made.”
The 62-year-old Wilde is part of the British musical personalities. Her father, Marty, 83, was among the first to embrace rock and roll and scored a string of hits in the 1950s and 1960s with songs such as Teenager In Love.
