And it looks like there may be trouble in paradise for Lady Mary (Michelle) as she talks about the struggles of marriage in the trailer.
Lady Mary has been seen talking to Hugh’s character, saying, “I don’t need to tell you that marriage is a novel full of plot twists.”
The trailer also shows that the mansion is becoming a setting for a movie, and the thin mustache Dominic, who plays a Hollywood actor from the 1920s, has become quite a heartthrob among the staff.
One of the cooks says, “There’s something in it, it’s like a wild animal ready for spring.”
Mr. Barber, producer and director, began filming – but Count Grantham, Robert Crowley (Hugh Bonneville) was not impressed by the fanfare.
“I think this is a terrible idea. Actresses, make-up, and actors just plastered, “he says as the scene shifts to the Hollywood cast, which interrupts daily life in Downton.
The trailer also hinted that fans will finally see widower Tom Branson find love again with maid Lucy Smith as the couple bond in romantic scenes.
Downton creator Julian Fellows previously teased some details about the film, which is based on the famous TV series.

Speaking about the project, Julian said: “It really is a new era. The more the 20s went by, the more the world changed in so many ways. Everything from entertainment to transportation was really different in the late 1920s. That is exactly what we mean by this.
Julian sees the Downton films as a sequel to the hit TV series that aired for six seasons between 2010 and 2015, and he explained that the new film will start from where the 2019 film ended.
He said: “As we know from the last film, Mary may not be the titular head of the household, but she effectively runs the show. We accept this further.
“We are trying to mark the change – the fact that Crowley from Downton is almost in the 1930s, which is just the beginning of the modern world.”
Actors: The sequel saw the return of much-loved cast, including Hugh, Michelle and Penelope Wilton (LR) Samantha Bond, Douglas Reith, Harry Hadden-Patton, Laura Carmichael, Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Michelle Dockery, Dockery, and Michael Fox
