No one was more upset than the breakup of Bubbas by Lisa Vanderpam.
The 61-year-old Bravo star told Six exclusively that she immediately called Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney when she heard rumors that they were heading for divorce.
“Obviously I’ve invested a lot in them as a couple, so it was heartbreaking to hear it. I am very close to them, “she told us Thursday night at the grand opening of Vanderpump à Paris in Las Vegas.
Vanderpam, who acted as both the boss and the mother figure of the former Vanderpam Rules couple, presided over their wedding ceremony in Northern California in August 2016 as cameras were released for Season 5.
“When I say you deserve each other, I mean it in the best possible way,” the restaurateur told them at the time. “You’re both wonderful, wonderful people.”

Vanderpam maintains the same view today: Schwartz, 39, and Maloney, 35, should be together.
“Let’s hold our breath and see what happens to them,” she told the couple, who are attending the Vegas party with Pump Rules colleagues Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Lala Kent, James Kennedy and Sheana Shay. , Brock Davis and Peter Madrigal. “I’d like to see Tom and Katie together again.”
Referring to his lasting union with his wife Ken Todd, Vanderpam continued: “I have been married for 39 years and this is not a picnic. This is a difficult job. But I think there is hope for these two. “

The aftermath of Schwartz and Maloney’s separation is one of several stories Vanderpump would like to see explored in a potential 10th season of “Pump Rules.”
“There are still a lot of stories to tell among children, especially now that the dynamics have changed so much and people are so invested in them,” she said of the cast and headlines in their lives – including Kent’s decision to leave the fiancé. Randall Emmett, after he allegedly cheated on her last year and Shay’s upcoming wedding to Davis.
