A police cordon has been set up after a man was stabbed in Knotty Ash.
Detectives and detectives have been at the scene of the Finch Lane and Altfinch Close crash since about 1.15am on Tuesday, June 14th.
An investigation into the incident has been launched and officers remain at Altfinch Close and Colwell Road while CCTV, witnesses and forensic scientists are carried out.
Officials say they have received reports that a man was stabbed in the face and legs near Finch Lane stores before returning to Altfinch Close.
