12 mins: The spurs enter behind Liverpool’s high defensive line and Harry Kane drops Hoigberg’s cross from the right into Liverpool’s penalty area. His shot was brilliantly blocked by Henderson, who did well to return.
10 minutes: A little over 10 minutes and Tottenham are struggling to play through the Liverpool press. Mo Salah has a shot blocked by Eric Dyer at the end of Liverpool’s counterattack. This is a corner for the Reds. Andy Robertson’s outsider has been cleared by Dyer.
9 min: Ryan Sessenon combines with Son on the left touchline, but Fabinho stops the gallop of the South Korean.
7 mins: Tottenham attack at the break, but Ibrahima Konate breaks Son’s rhythm without winning the ball at all. The ball was spread to the side of Kane, whose cross in the penalty area to Son on the right was intercepted by Alison, who hurried to his line to parry the ball.
5 min: Eric Dyer takes a header from Mo Salah in the Spurs penalty area cleanly, albeit unconvincingly. He leaned back and couldn’t apply much force behind the ball.
5 mins: Jordan Henderson crosses a pass to Trent Alexander-Arnold near the right touchline and sends the ball out of play to throw the Spurs in the middle of their half.
4 mins: Sadio Mane tries a shot from distance, but it is right in the esophagus of Hugo Loris. Liverpool is at the beginning of the rise.
1 min: Tottenham attack the end of the Cop in the first half, but Liverpool is the one who enjoys the first trip forward. Emerson Royal won the ball for the Spurs in the position of left back of the Spurs and passed to Rodrigo Bentancourt, who immediately lost it. The ball pierces to Sadio Mane, who completely misses the ball when trying with scissors.

Early news for the team
Somewhat remarkable, given that they are still fighting on four fronts at this late stage of the season, Roberto Firmino is the only easy care for Liverpool, but the Brazilian returned to training after recovering from a leg injury and can to participate.
Jurgen Klopp could change his team after their mid-week workloads against Villarreal and some or all of Jordan Henderson, Joel Matip, Costas Tsimikas and Luis Diaz could start tonight.
Tottenham Hotspur are left without Sergio Regilon, Matt Doherty, Jaffet Tanganga and Oliver Skip, but there are no new fears of injuries. Dejan Kulusevski had rested more than half of his game against Leicester last weekend, but could start in place of Lucas Moura tonight.

Premier League: Liverpool vs. Tottenham Hotspur
This is an unusually late start on Saturday night at Anfield, where Liverpool will hope to increase the pressure on Manchester City in the race for the title with a victory over the Spurs. A win for Jurgen Klopp’s team will lead them to a two-point lead at the top of the table before City’s game against Newcastle United tomorrow.
Currently in fifth place, two points behind Arsenal with four games left, the win for Tottenham will send them to the Champions League overnight, with their rivals from north London having to play with the relegation-threatened Leeds United at the Emirates tomorrow afternoon.
There are many bets on both sides of Anfield, where the start is at 19:45. Expect team news and upgrades in the meantime.
