Jerry Seinfeld pays tribute to “best television mother” Liz Sheridan, who died at the age of 93.
The American comedian, who co-starred with Sheridan in the eponymous series Seinfeld, said he was lucky to know the actress.
Sheridan died in her sleep of natural causes, five days after her birthday on April 10, said her friend and longtime spokeswoman Amanda Hendon.
She played Seinfeld Helen’s mother in love in the popular comedy.
“Liz has always been the sweetest, sweetest TV mother her son could wish for,” Seinfeld wrote on Twitter, sharing a photo of the couple.

Sheridan died two weeks after Estelle Harris, who played George’s mother on the show.
In addition to her famous role in Seinfeld, Sheridan also had a fruitful stage career.
She appeared on Broadway in plays and musicals in the 1970s, including Happy End with Meryl Streep and Ballroom.
