M5 crash: Man killed after “serious” truck crash on Somerset highway

A man died after an accident with two trucks on the M5 highway earlier today (Friday, April 28). A second driver was taken to hospital for injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary issued a statement tonight confirming the death and asking to witness the clash, which occurred around 1:30 p.m. Serious delays remain on the M5, A38 and A370 after the crash.
