Manchester United live transfer Eric ten Haag to Manchester United no later than Darwin Nunes approves move

It seems that Manchester United is approaching Eric ten Haag as their new manager, while reports on the future of the Ajax boss continue.

Ten Hag, of course, has emerged as United’s preferred candidate in recent weeks after being interviewed for the role last month. Reports this week suggest that United are close to a deal across the border, with the 52-year-old agreeing verbally to a three-year deal with Old Trafford.

United have yet to make a final decision, although they intend to arrange their appointment before the end of the season. Speculation is now building on possible United-linked aides.

If appointed, Ten Hag will face a great summer after a grim season for United. However, he may have closely followed a reported target on Wednesday.

Darwin Nunes impressed once again after scoring for Benfica when they were expelled from the Champions League by Liverpool. The striker is associated with United and as the Reds are moving to a new frontman, the 22-year-old will certainly meet the requirements.
