A teacher who abused two students in a campaign of perverted sexual violence faces jail time.
Carol Ann White, 39, abused both young men while working at two different primary schools in Lanarkshire.
A police investigation was launched when it was discovered that she was sending messages to a 12-year-old boy during the first blockade of Covid-19.
The phones belonging to the couple were analyzed and a total of 1,185 messages were exchanged over a three-week period.
White asked him to touch intimately on FaceTime, sent revealing photos of himself and sent a photo with the caption “Cockblock of the Year Goes to Covid-19”.
In later interviews with police, the boy revealed that he had been kissed 50 times on the lips during a school trip to an outdoor activities center near Oban, Argyll.

He also said that White touched him while watching the movie “Titanic” and also pressed his hand on the front of her pants.
The investigation led police to an 11-year-old boy who said White kissed him on the lips in the locker of a school store.
In a series of interviews with officers, the boy revealed that White held his head in her groin and rubbed it with her chest.
White of Uddingston, Lanarkshire, denied two allegations of sexual activity with boys between August 2018 and May 2020.
But it took the jurors just over an hour to convict her after a seven-day trial at Airdrie Sheriff’s Court.
Following the verdict, it was revealed that the first offender, White, had previously pleaded guilty to possession of eight indecent images of the 12-year-old boy.
A text sent by White to the boy after sending an image read: “Obviously you don’t need me to help, someone else must have turned you on.”
In a video shown to the jury, the 12-year-old boy said: “Miss White said that if you touch me, I will touch you and then take my hand and leave it down in my pants. That happened once. “
The 11-year-old told how he was targeted after a discussion about White and her love for Celtic.
He said: “She was manipulative. I thought he was a good man who wouldn’t do anything wrong, but you can’t judge a book by its cover.
“We talked about football because she is a big Celtic fan and the kiss just happened.
“In the last year, I felt I had to protect her because I thought he was such a nice person, but she really wasn’t.
“If you were Miss White’s teacher’s pet, you would like her. I felt pretty good. Looking back, I feel disgusted.
As evidence, White broke down as she repeatedly denied the allegations against her.
She said: “My reaction is that they are absolutely not true, none of them.
“I was a very hard-working, caring and caring teacher for all the children. I don’t know why they would say that about me.”
Prosecutors called on jurors to convict White.
Deputy Fiscalist Kevin Jarvis said: “During the day she was a respected teacher, at night she discussed sexual allusions with a 12-year-old student before returning to a respectable adult.
“She was a master of deception.”
After the verdict, Graham Robertson, a defense attorney, said: “She has been convicted of the most serious issues.”
Sheriff Morag Shankland postponed the sentence of White, who no longer works in education, until June for reports and continued bail.
White, who sobbed uncontrollably after the verdict, was also entered in the register of sex offenders.
The sheriff told the jury that the case was “difficult” and “alarming” and released them from the jury for the next five years.
