Nearly four months after a man was attacked during a house party, Prince Albert’s police arrested him.

A 21-year-old has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Alex Whitehead. The accused will appear in court for the first time on Friday and his name cannot be revealed until then.

Whitehead died at New Year’s Hospital after initially being found in a downtown residence suffering from life-threatening injuries.

According to a statement at the time to the police, the officers responded shortly before 4 am after a complaint about the firing of a weapon.
