PHOTOS: Prince Harry and Megan Markle gave a favorite exhibition at the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games

Prince Harry and Megan Markle attended the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games on April 16. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took the stage to deliver a powerful speech in which the royal couple also complemented their work. Megan reportedly introduced Prince Harry as her “amazing husband” and founder of the event.

The couple held hands during the opening ceremony and also shared a kiss on stage. In a video of her speech, posted on Twitter by journalist Omid Scoby, Megan expressed gratitude to the people of the Netherlands, where the games are currently being held, as she put it, “welcoming us to hosting the Invictus Games.”

She also specifically mentioned the Ukrainian team and added: “For each team, my husband and I admit that it was a lot to get here both physically and emotionally. Last but not least for the team of Ukraine, which we are all in position with. ”

In his introduction to Prince Harry, Markle also called him the sweet father of “our two little ones.” The couple welcomed their second baby, daughter Lilibet, last year. The duo also has a son, Archie Harrison. Markle looked elegant at the opening ceremony as she wore a white top with open shoulders, paired with navy blue high-waisted pants and black heels. As for Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex wore a stunning gray suit and white shirt for the big event as the duo walked the yellow carpet.
