The Scott family said they were devastated by the “brutal” attack, adding that “it is not the result of an internal dispute”.

On the official GoFundMe website, the family wrote: “Morgan miraculously survived his terrible ordeal; however, she has three broken neck bones.

“Broken femur, torn liver, broken ribs, severe back injuries, deep wounds over 60 percent of her body and severe rash injuries along the way.

“Then, to add insult to the injury, the insurance company informed her father that they could not pay her medical expenses because her injuries were not an accident,” THEY ARE INTENTIONALLY GIVEN. “

“I saw the lady lying on the grass opposite. I looked at this woman and it was just awful.

“We took a blanket because the grass was really wet and I asked my wife – who was a nurse – if she was alive.

“She said her wife said ‘thank you’ when she betrayed him. Every time I watch the video, I get sick.

“Until the last time she was run over, she seemed completely out of it. She never had to go through that.

This comes after DailyMail.com revealed that Jean from Irvington shared a number of videos from Grand Theft Auto on social media.

The late-night publications for several years were before the vicious attack on Scott.

Shocking footage shows the SUV turning off the road before speeding over the sidewalk as Scott fled in terror.

But the vehicle easily caught up with her, and she disappeared from view, as only her screams could be heard.

The car mowed her down and continued to drive down the front garden of a stranger.

Then Jean turned, and Scott briefly reappeared on the grass, barely moving.

He then started his engine and launched another vicious attack on her – even though his victim was lying motionless.

Observers, including the cameraman, shouted “stop, stop,” but the driver continued to drive.

He pressed the horn as he overcame it a second time before finally stopping.

Scott was left lying on the ground while witnesses shouted, “Hey, what the hell. What the hell?!’

She was taken to hospital in critical condition after at least one operation.

The suspect fled the scene, but Jean was later arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and third-degree assault with a car, prosecutors said.

The attack reportedly began when the couple quarreled over a minor road accident further up the road.

The driver is said to have tried to escape, but Scott pulled out a camera and began filming his car and following it up the street.

Scott’s family said: “The family would like to express their gratitude for the prompt response to this incident from the Union County Attorney’s Office, Elizabeth Police Department, EMS staff and Elizabeth Mayor Chris Bowage.

“We would also like to thank the citizens of Elizabeth for their help and support, especially the school bus driver who intervened and the neighbor who provided security camera footage for this horrific crime.

“Your actions and cooperation with law enforcement agencies led to the rapid detention of the perpetrator.

“These collective efforts, together with the diligent and diligent actions of doctors and health professionals at the University Hospital, saved our daughter’s life.

“What this man did to our daughter was disgusting and no parent, child or other human being should tolerate it.

“We want to make it clear that this is not the result of an internal dispute.

“This man was a complete stranger who committed a heinous act of road rage and tried to kill our daughter simply because he was trying to get the information he needed to legally report an incident while he was fleeing the scene.

“Although we are devastated and deeply saddened by what happened, we are grateful that our daughter is alive.

“We are now focused on care and rehabilitation and we will rely on law enforcement and the judiciary to administer justice.

“We appreciate the outpouring of love and support, but we ask you to respect the privacy of our family during this time.”

District Attorney William Daniel said: “At that moment, the suspect was driving his car directly to the victim and she started running on the lawn to avoid the impact.

“The suspect climbed onto the lawn and hit the victim, then transferred her before boarding and deliberately running over her a second time.”

Jean is being held in Union County Jail pending custody.
