POLICE are calling for witnesses after Saturday’s fatal crash.
The Major Clashes and Investigation Team (MCET) would like to speak to anyone who has seen or has information about the crash on B6144 Wilsden Road.
A West Yorkshire police spokesman said: “The collision occurred around 4.50pm when a silver Vauxhall Astra traveling to the Sandy Lane area collided with a Yamaha XT (trial style) motorcycle traveling in the opposite direction.
“A 72-year-old man was seriously injured in the collision and unfortunately died on the spot.
“Anyone who has seen the incident, or who has seen a vehicle before, or who has footage of the accident, has been asked to contact the Major Clashes and Investigation Team on 101, citing police diary 1154 of 23 April. 2022
