Vancouver police flooded Crab Park on the city’s industrial waterfront on Saturday as they investigated what a spokesman called a “serious incident.”
Police said there was no further information immediately.
Much of the eastern part of the park was cordoned off with police tape, and a white tarpaulin barrier was erected in an area near the beach.

Part of the staircase on the main street overpass and part of the sidewalk outside the park were also glued, and numerous evidence markers were placed on the ground.
