Police find mother and 11-year-old son abducted in Northwest Atlanta – WSB-TV Channel 2

UPDATE: Police confirm that Channel 2 action news that at that moment the abducted mother and her 11-year-old son had been found. No details have been released about the suspects or arrested.

original: The Atlanta Police Department is looking for a mother and her 11-year-old son who are believed to have been abducted from a home in northwest Atlanta.

Police responded to a kidnapping call just before 1 pm at the Abner Terrace home. At the scene, officers learned that a suspected man had abducted an elderly woman and an 11-year-old child against their will, forcing them into a vehicle. The vehicle is believed to be a black Jeep Compass with Georgia registration number CSL5977.

Kerlin Lubin, 38, is the elderly victim abducted with her 11-year-old son Pierre, according to information released by Atlanta police.

The child is believed to be traveling in a black SUV compass, CSL5977, and was last seen with 37-year-old suspect Leonard Cross, who took Pierre and his mother away.

Police have identified a possible suspect in the abduction. Leonard Cross has been identified as a possible suspect and is believed to be both armed and dangerous.
