Police have released surveillance footage of a suspect who allegedly stole a bag from a man in a wheelchair in Scarborough last month.
The victim was in front of an ATM in the Grangeway and Progress avenue area around 8:45 a.m. on March 29, when an unknown man approached him and allegedly snatched a bag from his wheelchair.
Police say the victim managed to fight back and grab the bag, but the suspect eventually stole a number of items from her.
He then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is described as aged 30 to 35 and about five feet and eight with a thin physique. Police said he was last seen wearing a black winter coat with brown leather upholstery, black pants, black heels and black sneakers.
