Officers were dispatched to a parking lot on Market Street South on Tuesday, November 24 at approximately 3:00 p.m.
Police say the accused got into a verbal altercation with the victim, who was allegedly punched in the face as she tried to remove herself from the situation.
The accused is also believed to have shouted hate speech and profanity.
Man accused of defecating on a staircase
Police have charged a 39-year-old Brantford man with mischief around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22.
The man is accused of defecating in a stairwell outside a residence on Queen Street.
Dispute leads to gun charges
Police responded to a gun-related call near Market and Dalhousie streets around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

An argument between two men reportedly escalated as one party brandished a firearm and threatened violence.
Officers located and arrested the accused, who police say was found to be in possession of a pellet gun.
A 37-year-old Brantford man has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; assault with a weapon; and failure to comply with a court order of release.
Toronto man faces drug charges
A 36-year-old Toronto man has been charged with breaking and entering and possession for the purpose of – schedule 1 – other drugs.
Police received a 911 call from the occupants of a home on Allenby Drive who said a man had broken a window to gain entry to the house around 3:15 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20.

Officers found the man inside the house and took him into custody.
Police said the suspect was in possession of a quantity of illegal prescription drugs.
The home owners were not injured.
The driver exceeded the legal limit: police
A 33-year-old Brantford man has been charged with driving under the influence.
Officers on patrol on Friday 20 November observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed along Clarence Street at around 3am
The vehicle ran a red light at Clarence and Dalhousie streets and was stopped by police.
Signs of impairment were observed when officers spoke with the driver, and a subsequent roadside breath test showed a failed result.
Breath samples taken at the police station were above the legal limit and the accused was found to be in breach of the conditions of his G2 licence.
The man is accused of operating while impaired – blood alcohol concentration; novice driver – BAC above zero; and a red light – they fail to stop.
The vehicle was impounded for 14 days and the driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.
