Pope Francis: Did the pope’s apology to Canada go far enough?

The doctrine they refer to comes from 15th century edicts of the Pope. To outsiders, this may seem like an abstract focus for demonstration, but for many Indigenous people, not only in Canada but also in the US, South America, Australia and elsewhere, it is critical.
