Longridge Road in Preston was closed from Bluebell Way to the intersection with The Hills. People were told to keep their windows and doors tightly closed, to avoid the area, as well as the M6’s J31A because of the smoke moving over the roadway.

Ever since the fire department, while the work continues. The last piece of advice: “The fire has already been contained and the smoke has decreased significantly since the beginning of the fire. Please keep windows and doors closed if you see or smell smoke.
The Lancashire fire and rescue drone was in the sky today and they released this photo
Lancashire and Fire and Rescue Service update: “Firefighters continue to put out the fire and work with teams on the ground. About 70 firefighters remain at the scene and expect to be here for a few more hours.
This is not the first time there has been a fire in Recycling Lives, as fire crews have dealt with significant fires in both 2015 and 2019.
