Protesters opposing the old logging in British Columbia are protesting again, but this time they are not blocking Highway 1 in Vancouver Metro.
According to a photo published by Save Old Growth, two of its members clung to the hotel entrance in downtown Vancouver, where the Forestry Council is holding its annual convention.
Prime Minister John Horgan will deliver a speech there on Friday afternoon.
The group also briefly blocked the Trans Canada Highway in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.

Howard Breen is on the 29th day of his hunger strike to receive a public meeting with Forest Minister Catherine Conroy. Vic Bryce is on the sixth day of his hunger strike, according to the group.

Conroy said she had talked to the strikers so far, but declined to meet with them.

Save Old Growth protesters have staged regular protests recently and more than 85 members of the group have been arrested.

The group insists on ending the old logging through legislative changes.
It says it will not be hampered by escalating actions, although drivers and commuters are frustrated by the interruption.
