The Queen celebrated her 96th birthday with a photo depicting her passion for horses throughout her life, when Prince Harry revealed about his home life and the difficulties of bringing his children to meet their great-grandmother.
The monarch turns 96 on Thursday and travels from Windsor to his Sandringham mansion to stay on the property loved by her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, for her birthday.
Last week, the Queen received special guests in Windsor when Prince Harry and his wife Megan stopped by for the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
Queen’s birthday wishes are circulating, with Boris Johnson and Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer among the benefactors, and gun salutes will be fired in her honor on Thursday.
The photo for her birthday was taken in March at Windsor Castle by Henry Dalal, who was previously tasked with making an official portrait for her 90th birthday.
Harry came home?
Prince Harry told NBC’s Today show about his visit to see the Queen in Windsor last week. It was his and Megan’s first joint visit to the United Kingdom since moving to the United States more than two years ago.
“It was really nice to catch up with her,” he said. “She is in great shape. She always has a great sense of humor with me. ”

The duke said he wanted to return to Britain with his children for the Queen’s upcoming platinum anniversary, but had security concerns. “I still do not know. There are many things with security issues and everything else, “he said, adding that” he is trying to make it possible for me to get my children to meet her. “
But, he said, the United States is home for now, and he was welcomed into his “open arms” community in Santa Barbara.
He also said that lately he has been thinking more about his late mother, Princess Diana: “I feel her presence in almost everything I do now. But definitely more in the last two years than ever, no doubt. So she is watching over us. ”
