A man accused of first-degree murder was arrested a day after the RCMP asked for public help to find him.
In a statement Sunday night, Mounties said Stavon Maurice Allen, 38, who was last seen at Spruce Grove, was found and detained by police “without incident.”
The arrest was made with the assistance of the Edmonton Police Department, the RCMP reported.
“An update will be provided on the circumstances surrounding these allegations in the near future,” said Capt. Gina Slaney, in a press release.
