Murder on Lake Williams

The RCMP is investigating a murder on Lake Williams.
Sergeant Chris Manso said on Thursday, shortly after 11pm, police received a report of a man suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds on Midnight Drive.
“Officers from Williams Lake’s RCMP and BC’s emergency services immediately visited and found the man suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to the hospital, where he died of his injuries despite all efforts, “Manso said.
The Division of Major Crimes in the Northern District undertook the investigation and worked closely with the RCMP of Williams Lake and the BC Coroners Service.
ND MCU investigators are asking to testify, record from a control camera or CCTV from the Midnight Drive area on Thursday, May 5 between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m.
“We are in the early stages of our investigation. However, early indications show that this was a targeted attack, although a complete decision has not yet been made, “Manso added.
