The RCMP released very few details Saturday, including the age of the victim.
Investigators say shortly before 10 pm on April 13, officers received a signal for a video with intimate images, which was allegedly recorded and distributed on the Internet without consent.
Richmond RCMP is aware that this video is widely viewed online and says investigators are “working aggressively” to identify the person or people involved.
The Richmond Cybercrime Unit is helping with the case. They said no further information would be released at this time.
