Police are urgently calling for information to identify a man after a 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at a major train station in London over the weekend.
The child was attacked at around 2.50pm in Boots at Victoria Place Shopping Center at Victoria Station, central London, on Saturday.
British transport police have released video surveillance photos of a man with whom detectives would like to speak.
Officials have conducted in-depth investigations since the incident and are “very confident” that the man in the images can help with their investigation.
Detective Officer Tony Gittins said: “This is a particularly worrying incident, given the very young age of the victim, and we are working tirelessly to identify the person responsible and detain him for questioning.
“I would like to call on the public to help identify the man in the CCTV images, who we are confident will be able to help with our investigation.
“If you recognize it or have any information, please contact BTP by sending an SMS to 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 327 from 11/06/22.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
