Russian missile strikes hit Lviv this morning, killing at least six people, the district governor said.
“Currently, we can confirm that six were killed and eight were injured. Among the victims is a child, “Maxim Kozitsky said on social media. He said there had been four strikes, three with military infrastructure and one with a tire shop, and that the child was among the injured.
The city in western Ukraine, near the Polish border, was largely spared by shelling after Russia invaded nearly two months ago and became a refuge for war refugees.
