Surrey’s RCMP is investigating a woman’s sexual abuse during rest and entry – BC

Surrey’s RCMP has issued a public warning after a woman was sexually assaulted by a stranger who broke into her house in Whalley early Saturday morning.

Police were called to block 12900 on 101A Boulevard for a breach signal and entered around 6:40 p.m.

When they arrived, they spoke to the woman, who reported that she had been sexually assaulted by an unknown man.

She was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police are filming and searching for witnesses in the area.

The Surrey RCMP’s Special Victims Unit has taken over the investigation and is asking anyone with information or camera footage about the area to contact police.
