Suspect of deadly bump and run in Fresno dragging woman 8 miles identified, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) – Fresno police have identified a suspect they say was involved in a deadly blow and running early Friday morning.

Authorities say Sean Ginder, 36, was driving a pickup truck when he hit a woman pushing a shopping cart and walking her dog on a leash at the Herndon and Milburn intersection.

After the crash, she was caught under the pickup while he dragged her about eight miles as she stopped at La Quinta Inn.

The police reported that at about 2 o’clock in the morning they received a signal that a person had died in the parking lot.

Authorities said on Friday night they found the truck in Graystone’s apartment near Fig Garden Loop, where Ginder lives. He was not found in the complex.

The murdered woman has not been identified.

Anyone with information on Ginder’s whereabouts has been asked to contact the Fresno Police Department.
