Their funny bones were tickled by their fatal beating of a 73-year-old man on the streets of Philadelphia.
Cops released video of the shocking incident on Friday, and it’s chilling.

James “Simmy” Lambert was attacked by teenage thugs on June 14 at around 3am. The juvenile animals inflicted repeated beatings on Lambert with cones. He died later in hospital.

“It makes me sick,” his niece Tanya Stevens told the New York Post. “We all can’t stop crying. Who does this No sane person beats and kills a senior citizen walking down the street. Simi didn’t deserve this.
No arrests have been made so far. But the horrifying video – showing Lambert trying to escape his young killers – struck a chord with crime-ravaged Americans.

Even when Lambert tried to get off the ground and run, the teenagers knocked him down again. Some of the youths smiled and laughed.
The Philadelphia Police Department is offering a $20,000 reward for information in the case.

Lambert was a retired construction worker known in the neighborhood and by his family for his kindness and selflessness.

“Everybody would always ask, ‘Where’s Simmy, has Simmy arrived yet?'” Stevens recalled. “He just had that swagger, that coolness. And he always dressed like he came out of GQ.”
He never married, but has two daughters and three grandchildren, Stevens said. Lambert was at his sister’s house for dinner in the hours before the horrific attack.
“My mom gave him his plate,” Stevens said. “She gave him barbecue chicken, some mac and cheese and a roll. She told him, you are late, there are no sides left.”
It is not clear why Lambert was out walking so late.
“These kids need to come forward,” Stevens said. “Their parents have to show up. Something is wrong when kids are out at 2 in the morning beating and killing an old man. We lost God, we lost family. What happened to us?’
