The Council’s tax rebate is being issued this week – a full list of areas receiving it

Households in the United Kingdom will receive a discount of 150 British pounds this week. Families from the United Kingdom will see the welcome money in their account.

This comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson desperately tries to cling to his job by defending municipal tax rebates to the press. In Bury today, the prime minister told reporters: “Conservative councils are the ones who charge you less, and labor councils are the ones who have record taxes.

“And we are the party that does more to empty your buckets, does more to remove holes. I think I’m right in saying – and you can check this out if you want – but I think conservative councils make four times as many holes or fill four times as many holes as labor councils.

“What we believe in is essentially ensuring value for money and continuing to work. That’s what conservative advisers across the country are doing. They’re doing a fantastic job. And we’re going to be campaigning until election day.”

The places offer discounts from April 25. Confirmed local authorities issuing concessions this week are: Sunderland, Leeds, Bracknell and Manchester.

Arun, St. Helens and Preston also issue discounts. The general requirements for receiving the discount are as follows: The property is in municipal tax groups from A to D, the property is occupied and the property is the main residence of the residents, ie. it is not a second home. Residents also have to pay a municipal tax.
