A trainer at the Miami Marine Aquarium was attacked by a dolphin during the live Flipper Dolphin Show on Saturday.
“[It] it looked like the dolphin had crashed into the trainer, “said Shannon Carpenter, a photographer who was in the audience to see the show, for WSVN.” There was a fight, there was an underwater collision. The lady on the board got out of the water pretty quickly, and then the head coach started swimming back to the dock and looked like she had been hit a few more times. “
After the attack, the coach escaped from the water and remained on her knees by the pool until the end of the show.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) logged into their TikTok account to analyze the attack, claiming it originated from dolphins forced into the Seaquarium.
The Miami Seaquarium says this is the first time a dolphin has broken its routine and attacked. The coach was reportedly sent to hospital.
“It was undoubtedly painful for Sundance, who reacted by breaking away from the routine and swimming towards and hitting the coach,” Seaquarium said. “Both Sundance and the coach are recovering well.”
